KOSMIC is an interactive annual event featuring creative works by students of Carleton University’s School of Architecture & Urbanism.

Spirit is transmitted beyond campus studios to a unique space in Ottawa. This recurring event is intended as an interface between students & city.

KOSMIC interactive annual event featuring creative works by students of Carleton University’s School of Architecture & Urbanism.

The event has been run as a not-for-profit tradition ever since the early 70’s, in which all proceeds made are recycled back into next year's efforts.

Initially, KOSMIC was woven into the architecture degree. Studio projects were reportedly integrated into this iconic rave. With the venue being the architecture building itself, event & education were linked.

We have become a more dynamic undertaking with the shift away to an external venue. Planned by the students, the event aims to cultivate an atmosphere of creative joy.

We are excited to approach this year’s event in nontraditional ways, heightened by the circumstances of a global pandemic.
